Renovating a building steeped in local history is an undertaking that brings out the essence of Porter VanArsdale Construction . The following projects illustrate the excellent results that occur with enthusiastic clients and the expertise of Porter VanArsdale.
When the client contacted Porter VanArsdale, the Christmas Cottage residence, which dates from 1905, was in need of modernization and outdoor amenities. The client was attracted by the inherent charm and traditional style of the house, and its location in Old Naples, especially the proximity to the beach. The main intent of the proposed renovation were to completely modernize and renovate the structure, infrastructure, amenities, and exterior while maintaining a consistent, clean traditional Florida look. Over 2000 square feet of new construction was added to the cottage property. The interior renovations included new floor, wall, ceiling and lighting treatments, as well as complete bathroom and kitchen replacements. Exterior changes included lanai renovations and new guesthouse and garage, and an extensive new patio complete with new pool and spa.
